Every time a wildfire breaks out, the National Guard and local fire departments are sent in. Heat exhaustion and burning alive are tremendous threats. They don’t always have the best budget to properly equip their firefighters, so every season a fistful of the most passionate servants our nation will ever know die untimely deaths.
They know they are hot, but they don’t realize that their internal temperature has become a boiling pot of roiling death. If you don’t believe me, do a Google search for “firefighters+die” and you’ll see a million and a half results. Some tragedies are comedies in disguise, but other tragedies can be avoided.
In the good old days the answer was, “You tell me, rookie!” We now offer an alternative to physical and verbal abuses like these, and it’s one that’s more convenient than you might think. Our patent pending thermometer constantly measures your internal temperature and relays that information to a comfortable wristband worn device. If you think your core is getting hot, wonder no more. You can just glance at your hand and know for sure if you’ve entered a dangerous zone.
Our thermometer, or “thermomoshoehorn,” is a fairly comfortable 3″ by 1″ block of precision machined aluminum that any firefighter can place easily into the anus. It syncs easily via Bluetooth to the necklace, keychain or wristwatch of the wearer, warning early when internal temperatures exceed safe levels, effectively saving the wearer’s life.
Our engineers are currently working to make the thermometer smaller, because the suggestions about size improvements have come from every corner of the globe, but until we sell more units, we just won’t be able to get there.
If you’re already sold, don’t wait for the next generation of device, because without these Beta sales, we may not survive long enough to reach the levels we need to engineer the device to the exact internal dimensions you need.
